I enjoy this photo, however my one critique is that I wish the background was in a slightly sharper focus. The color alone is gorgeous and I know the model is supposed to be the 'focus' of the image, but I think a little clarity to the water would have enhanced rather than taken away from. Other than that (and the fact that she looks very uncomfortable, as I know I would be in this pose) It's a beautiful composition. Bright, colorful. Well composed.
And random side note, I don't think she looks anorexic. I think she's thin but it fits her body well. Just adding my 2 cents on that issue. Also when you lay on your back your stomach does tend to deflate a little, so you do look thinner than you actually are. I don't get why people turn this beautiful image into a huge argument over anorexia or average. Just enjoy it for what it is, for crying out loud!
Sigh. I wonder if you photographers who take artistic nudes dread daily deviations? I'm yet to see one with a comments section that does not degrade into arguments, immature comments, rudeness towards the models or general jealousy. At least when the subject is female, anyway. Male nudes don't seem to evoke the same reactions.
I do hope the rude comments don't spoil this DD experience for you too much. This is a great shot and a well deserved DD. Congratulations.
I find womens' sometimes to be artistic, and that's natural for me being a guy Lol I've looked objectively at mens' bodies' strictly for artistic purposes(I'm straight), but I rarely ever see any beauty in the male body. I find it quite ugly in most cases.
A beautiful ocean in the background, a beatiful woman in the front along with some green grass, what is naughty about that? Because she is nude? Oh please... watch TV after midnight and you see ALOT more graphic stuff. So why are people mad about this? It really looks like Art and not the other thing.
Woah, look at those comments. Seems like a lot of people need to learn a thing or two about anatomy "OMG LOOK RIBS THAT MUST MEAN SHE'S STARVING!!1!1" I'm bloody overweight and I can make my ribs pop out like that too in a similar position. Better go eat something now, huh?
It's a nice picture, the model looks amazing, but I think a different light setting could have made it stunning. It looks a little bit plain right now. But on the other hand I'm not a photographer, so I could be wrong Well deserved DD through!

To be honest, I don't hate the picture. It is better than just a snapshot of someones genitals. But I'm usually harsher towards artistic nude since most of it is just, "LOLZ I TOOK MY CLOTHES OFF N LEANING AGAINST A BUILDING! SOO ARTISITIZ!"
all most people see is "1) Hot chick. 2) naked hot chick. 3) private parts!!!" but if a piece gets comments like "I want it" "is eff it" "I want you" "let me lick that" then I think the content is leaning more toward porn, or the people saying that are majorly perverted. Or both. Cant really rule that out. But typically the 'classy' nude works get normal praise/critique comments and not a lot of the perv ones

I mean, of course all artistic nudes are going to get some perv comments. But if they are all just commenting about how they 'want to turn ur slab of cunt into their pie' (I seriously didn't make that up) then it is most obviously porn.
*Bonus* Here is a fine example of porn, not art. [link] This guy gets compared to Michelangelo.
This is for all you people who are frustrated by the rude comments and trolls, and more importantly for the photographer and the model in this well done piece.
This is gorgeous; I love the simplicity of the picture. The contrasting colors make it pop and are nicely lit. It's not overbearing, it's just right. The pose for the model is very dynamic. The arch of her back and her arched foot gives a feel of movement and brings the picture to life. The way her hair falls and her hand tangled in it makes her appear as if she's in a passionate moment. A picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes you can't even think of any way to say them and describe it.
Very well done piece, congratulations on the Daily Deviation.
